I often see women carrying enormous designer shopping bags on the Hong Kong Metro. Guccis, Pradas, and Vuittons on the subway! Question: if one is willing to spend over 20 000 HKD on a handbag, whats another 100 HKD for a taxi? Although it could be due to the grotesquely long taxi lines and heart-wrenchingly slow traffic.

The key difference between Hong Kong residents and people who just go there to shop are Chuck Taylors. My converse sneakers are just plain black. Hong Kong-ers, that is not the correct term, wear them covered with metal studs, Mastermind skulls or the Commes de Garcon hearts. HK Chuck Taylors are generally pretty cool whilst others are pretty average.
