Thin, pencilled brows and wavy hair backstage at Thakoon.
Also, I need to ease up on the gel pen.

Backstage at Alexander Wang.
Although since the hair and makeup hasn’t started yet, it could basically pass for backstage at any show.

A dark, rich, Burgundy for fall.
I quite love lipstick. Both MAC and YSL have beautiful dark reds.

Hopefully more Christine Daaé in her “Think of me” scene from Phantom of the Opera than hippie/bohemian.

Harry Winston diamond earrings and Cartier necklace. You know, the kind of jewelry I would be able to own if I started cooking meth like Walter White.

Leather schoolboy satchel by Billykirk. Handmade in the US using vegetable tanned leather. Not sure if it is menswear or unisex. Don’t care. I want one.

I very much like the idea of a hair ribbon, or using a silk scarf as a hair ribbon. Disney characters tie their hair with ribbons! I don’t see it often in real life however, probably due to the fact that it is near impossible without aid of a hairband.
I used an old Louis Vuitton ad from last year as a photo reference.

I figure silk pajama shirts also work pretty well.
Nowadays my idea of “properly dressed” includes wearing this pj shirt with a pair of cropped trousers that used to go with a suit jacket.
It feels pretty narcissistic to be writing about my personal fashion (can I call it that?) choices, but alas, I am far away from the city of inspiration and am slowly devolving in suburbia. That said, I’ve taken to the habit of wearing silk pajama bottoms in public, mainly due to the fact that I’ve lost all motivation to search my suitcase. They look like wide-leg trousers from afar, are exceptionally light and comfortable for summer and, its’ summer, who the hell cares?

Balenciaga’s enormous hat.
I have got to stop doing that lipstick-as-a-pop-of-colour-on-an-otherwise-black-and-white-drawing thing.

The pencil sketch started out as a jumpsuit or top-tucked-into-pants thing but now I can kind of look at it as an evening gown. Ish.

Ballpoint pen, pencil and a tiny tiny bit of acrylic. Drawing sunglasses are easier than drawing eyes.
